Super Big TV

 

An event as big as the World Cup deserves to be seen on a super big screen.

To coincide with the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Samsung commissioned Barbarian to create a series of short films to be shown across the globe promoting their new “Super Big TVs.” What's a Super Big TV? Think the kind that the rich kid with a laserdisc player had in his basement growing up, then double it in size.

I worked on creative concepting for this project, as well as scriptwriting for the spots. Shot in Mexico City, the two films deliver on the passion of soccer fans and the fervor that surrounds the World Cup (and works in a healthy product message).
